Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Nerja and Almuñécar

We have a weekly Sunday Eucharist service at midday in San Miguel, Plaza Andalucia, Nerja.

San Miguel is situated just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Nerja and is just off the main road that runs through the town.

This is not the large white church near the Balcon de Europa, El Salvador.

At present, the Wednesday 9.30 morning Eucharist services are transmitted ‘live’ on Zoom.

Our Parish is currently in vacancy

Please join with us as we pray and seek to discern whom God is calling to be our next Chaplain.

Our services continue as normal and we have been blessed to receive the services of a number of locum priests to enable us to join together to worship and celebrate Holy Communion each Sunday.

Our church mission

Set on the Mediterranean coast in the region of Andalucía, on the borders of the Costa del Sol and the Costa Tropicana, we are a Church of England parish in the Diocese of Europe.

Parish Mission Statement:

This Parish seeks to serve the spiritual and pastoral needs
of the English-speaking Community in Nerja, Almuñécar and the surrounding area,
and to draw them into a closer commitment to God and his Church.
