Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Nerja and Almuñécar
We have a weekly Sunday Eucharist service at midday in San Miguel, Plaza Andalucia, Nerja. This is not the large white church near the Balcon de Europa, El Salvador. It is situated some 10 minutes walk away, just off the main road that runs through the town.
All of the necessary health precautions are observed, such as the obligatory wearing of face masks in church, and during the receiving of communion, the use of antiseptic gel on arrival at church. There is no distribution of hymnbooks or Eucharist booklets. Pew sheets and hymn sheet are available as you enter the church. Also a distance of 2 metres, between individual members of the congregation who are not in a family ‘bubble’, is observed during the service.
At present, the Wednesday 9.30 morning Eucharist services are transmitted ‘live’ on Zoom.
There is also an on-line service of Compline every Thursday at 6pm. Please contact Fr Nigel with your e-mail details if you would like to be sent an invitation to join us along with an on-line format of the service.
