Church Shop and Charity Centre
A
major source of fundraising is the Parish Shop and Charity Centre, situated in
Calle Malaga near the centre of Nerja. Here we sell a wide range of pre-owned
clothes, household items, books and bric-a-brac…. But we try to be more than a
shop!!
Our
friendly volunteer staff re all either residents or long-term visitors, and
have a wealth of knowledge about the area and the Spanish way of life.
They are happy to answer questions or just have a chat.
Friends
from many different countries call in to see us, and help our efforts to raise
money for our parish and for local charities and international disaster funds.
Each
Wednesday morning at 9.30am there is a service of Holy, Communion in the
Centre before opening the shop for business. All our welcome to attend.
